FFXIV Dancing Mad Ultimate Boost

Dancing Mad Ultimate, known as DMU or UMAD is the seventh Ultimate raid in FFXIV. It rebuilds the Kefka fight from Sigmascape V4.0 Savage into a level 100 encounter for eight players, with a 120-minute time limit and five phases that run from the first Kefka form through God Kefka, Exdeath, Neo Exdeath, Chaos and finally Ultimate Kefka.

The raid also hides a trap that costs many groups their clear. Phase 1 contains three Graven Image checks, shown as candles on the statue behind Kefka. A party that fails them still beats phase 2, then gets a short cutscene, an empty coffer and no totem at all. The gear ceiling was already set when this Ultimate launched, so the payout here is prestige rather than stats. One Mad Harlequin's Totem drops for a clear and Uah'shepya in Solution Nine exchanges it for any Palazzo Diamond Weapon at item level 795. The Son of a... achievement grants the Cruel Legend title, which sits permanently on your character name. Each run also pays 30 Allagan Tomestones of Mnemonics.

None of these rewards can be bought, crafted or farmed anywhere else in the game.
